Marian & Friends "The Puppet Lady!"

During Marian's college years, she used her character (“Willie”) for presentations and during her student teaching assignments. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Special and Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and taught in the Fleetwood (PA) School District for eleven years. Throughout her teaching career, she used puppets in her classroom to teach, entertain, and relate to her students.

She and her husband live in Eastern Pennsylvania with their four children .

	In 1976, Marian's mother purchased “Willie”, a ventriloquist figure, from Maher Ventriloquism Studios in Colorado. After practicing the art of ventriloquism with her mother, Marian started venturing out on her own – performing at her church, for birthday parties, in school, and in local talent contests. Soon her mother and sister joined together to form the “Adam Family Variety Show”. The three of them played instruments, sang songs, and did ventriloquist skits. They performed together for many years.

	Meet Joey! Joey is a precocious boy who's full of energy. He loves to sing, joke around, and tell some amazing tales!

	Meet Sophia! Aunt Sophia is a life-sized ostrich with a soothing voice and sweet personality. She encourages children with her sound advice and creative songs.

	Meet Lucy! Lucy has been an audience favorite for years. She always 'works the crowds' and gets lots of attention.

	Meet Dudley! Dudley is a 'know-it-all' bird who is convinced that Marian is not a ventriloquist. He's fast-talking and quick witted. He introduces the> audience to his adorable cousin, Zoe.

	Meet Chester T. Mouse! Chester T. Mouse is a newcomer to our act. He's unsure of a lot of things, but is certainly fond of cheese! His voice and his stories are endearing.

	Meet Zoe! Zoe belongs to another ventriloquist in the act: Marian's daughter, Jenny. Zoe is Dudley's cousin and is sweetly mischievous. She's out to prove that "Big things do come on small packages"!
